Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End S01

The Demon King is defeated and the hero's party returns to their land, reminiscing about their ten-year journey before disbanding. The four: the wizard Freyr, the hero Himel, the priest Heiter, and the warrior Eisen, recall the past as they are about to part ways. However, the flow of time is different for elves, so Freyr witnesses the death of his companions one by one. Before his death, Heiter entrusts a young human apprentice named Fern to Freyr. The elf, who was fond of collecting various magics, and the pair embark on a tumultuous journey without a clear goal, visiting places that past heroes had visited. On these journeys, Freyr gradually faces the sorrow of missed opportunities to become closer to his companions.
